J.J. Abrams responds to 'Cloverfield' theories for new Hathaway sci-fi film
The upcoming sci-fi survival movie 'The End of Oak Street' is already sparking wild fan theories, and producer J.J. Abrams is addressing them. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Abrams commented on speculation that the new film, starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, might connect to his 'Cloverfield' franchise.
Abrams also used the interview to praise his pop star daughter Gracie's pivot into acting, saying he 'knows how hard she's working' on her debut. The David Robert Mitchell-directed feature is set to hit theaters on August 14.
