Joel Miller will officially return in The Last of Us in 2027

The Last of Us fan-favorite Joel Miller is coming back. According to ScreenRant, the character will officially return in a new release slated for November 2027.

The project is described as honoring the legend that started it all. No further details on the nature of the release, whether it's a new game, DLC, or something else, were provided.

This sets the stage for a major return to the post-apocalyptic world seven years after the original game's sequel.
