Johnny Depp Has Condition for Pirates Comeback, Says He'd Work for Bruckheimer

Johnny Depp says he's open to a return as Captain Jack Sparrow, but only under one condition. According to /Film, the actor told Entertainment Tonight he'd consider it if the creative plans for "Pirates of the Caribbean 6" were "exactly where they need to be."
Depp stated his main interest would be to help "send them off on a better note" for the franchise. He also expressed strong loyalty to producer Jerry Bruckheimer, saying he'd "go to work with Jerry Bruckheimer tomorrow for anything."
The actor's involvement in major studio films has been limited in recent years following his legal battles and departure from franchises like "Fantastic Beasts." His latest role is in the indie film "Ebenezer."
Meanwhile, Disney's plans for the next Pirates movie have been shifting. Per /Film, a version starring Margot Robbie was considered but hasn't materialized, and a total reboot has also been suggested. The project currently has no release date.
