Jurassic World sequel on hold as director Gareth Edwards exits over creative differences
The next Jurassic World movie has hit a major snag. Gareth Edwards, who directed the upcoming reboot Jurassic World Rebirth, has left the project over creative differences, according to reports from Collider, ScreenRant, and TheWrap.
Universal has reportedly put the film officially on hold following the director's exit. The project was previously confirmed for a 2025 release.
Edwards is best known for helming the Star Wars film Rogue One. His departure leaves the dinosaur franchise's future plans in limbo for now.
