Morgan Spector to replace Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon in Netflix series
Tom Hanks is officially out as the globe-trotting symbologist. Netflix has cast Morgan Spector to play Robert Langdon in its new Dan Brown series, according to Collider and TVLine.
The show is an adaptation of the novel 'The Secret of Secrets'. Spector is best known for his role in the HBO series 'The Gilded Age'.
This marks a major recasting for the character, who Hanks famously played in three feature films. The new series will be a fresh start for Langdon on the streaming platform.
