Nicolas Cage is ready to suit up as the iconic coach. His new biopic 'Madden,' where he plays NFL legend John Madden, has locked in a Prime Video streaming date for November 18, according to reports from Variety and Collider.
Director David O. Russell's film is also getting an awards-qualifying theatrical run in early November, per Variety. Cage has reportedly called the role a personal highlight.
Christian Bale co-stars as Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter. The project is backed by Amazon MGM.
