Psychological Horror Game Mouthwashing Hits Xbox Game Pass This Halloween

The indie horror title 'Mouthwashing' is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 29, just in time for Halloween, per ScreenRant.
The game is described as a psychological trip with unsettling reveals and a relentless sense of dread. It features low-poly, late-90s style visuals and a non-linear timeline. The story follows a crew where trust is a major theme, and players must decide whether to trust their fellow crewmates or question everything as a trick of the mind.
Gameplay focuses on narrative and puzzle-solving rather than traditional combat. The story involves a dark mystery and an onboard supply of high-alcohol mouthwash that players can use to self-medicate. The playthrough lasts roughly three hours.
'Mouthwashing' is one of several horror-themed games joining the Game Pass catalog this month. 'The Seance of Blake Manor' arrives on October 27, and 'Artic Eggs' was added last week.
ScreenRant notes that while many titles are leaving Game Pass at the end of October, these indie horror games are getting a chance to shine.
