Robert Downey Jr. is stepping behind the mask of the iconic Fantastic Four villain, Doctor Doom, for the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday,' and his performance is already making waves.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, his initial voice work for the role gave the film's directors literal chills. The Oscar winner is set to bring the classic comic book antagonist to the big screen.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18.
