Smile 3 Officially Moves Forward with New Director David Bruckner

Paramount is moving ahead with Smile 3, according to an exclusive report from Variety. The studio has officially hired director David Bruckner and screenwriter Nick Antosca for the third installment.

The pair are taking over franchise duties from creator Parker Finn, who directed the first two films. Per Variety, Finn will stay involved as a producer and even pitched the story framework for this new sequel.

Bruckner is known for directing the 2022 reboot of Hellraiser, a connection also noted in a report from JoBlo. His hiring signals a new creative team for the horror series.
