Sony confirms new God of War game starring Kratos is in development
A new chapter for the Ghost of Sparta is officially on the way. Sony has confirmed another God of War game starring Kratos is in the early stages of development, per a report from Push Square.
The project was revealed by Head of Creative Cory Barlog at San Diego Comic-Con. According to the outlet, the new title will continue the story from next year's installment, which is currently titled 'Laufey'.
The new adventure is reportedly slated for release on February 16, 2027. Push Square notes that fans should expect the game to launch on the PS6 platform.
