Spider-Man: Brand New Day soars past $1.6 billion in record time

The box office is officially Spider-Man's web. 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' continues its historic run, pulling in a massive $145 million domestically in its second weekend. According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, that's the third-best second weekend ever.

Globally, the numbers are even more super-powered. The film has amassed a stunning $1.67 billion worldwide after just 12 days, per reports from Variety and TheWrap. That total includes a heroic $1.01 billion from international markets.

This makes it the second-fastest movie ever to cross the billion-dollar mark overseas, trailing only the mighty 'Avengers: Endgame'. With over $655 million already in the domestic bank, it seems nothing can stop this wall-crawler.
