Street Fighter's star-studded cast includes WWE champs and a masked country singer

Paramount and Legendary’s new 'Street Fighter' live-action movie has assembled a wild roster of real-life fighters and celebrities to play the game’s iconic characters, per Variety.
The cast is led by Noah Centineo as the loudmouth Ken Masters and Andrew Koji as the world champion Ryu. Callina Liang bulks up to play Chun-Li, while David Dastmalchian takes on the villainous role of M. Bison.
The lineup gets particularly eclectic with its supporting fighters. WWE superstar Roman Reigns is playing the powerful Akuma, and fellow wrestler Cody Rhodes takes on the role of Guile. Country singer Orville Peck, known for his own signature masks, makes his film debut as the claw-wielding Vega.
Rounding out the muscle is Olivier Richters, an actor whose towering frame has landed him roles in projects like 'Black Widow' and 'Borderlands', as the hulking Zangief. The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai, known for his work on 'Beef' and 'The Eric Andre Show'.
According to /Film, the movie’s post-credits scene sets up a sequel by revealing the villain Sagat, who was defeated by Ryu in the film’s opening, now allied with M. Bison. This teases a bigger threat for the heroes to face in a potential follow-up.
