Updated nightlyStreet Fighter is getting mostly positive early buzz, but it's not the hype train some people want. The look, pacing, and humor are the strongest parts, while the story and originality are where a lot of chatter goes flat. Chun-Li, Ryu, Ken, and Guile are the big conversation pieces, and Guile gets the friendliest reaction; Callina Liang, Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, and Kitao Sakurai get much colder takes, with Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo especially struggling. The 1993 World Warrior Tournament setup with a conspiracy and old demons gives the trailers some teeth, but it still reads familiar to plenty of people.
