Based on early buzz, the next "Street Fighter" movie looks like it might actually get the tone right. The story of estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters being dragged back into a brutal tournament seems to be clicking, with people praising the story and visuals. The humor and pacing are landing especially well. That said, the cast is causing a major split. Jason Momoa, Andrew Koji, and Noah Centineo are getting shredded in conversation, while the core characters like Chun-Li, Guile, and M. Bison are generating cautious optimism. It's a positive start, but the casting choices are the big hurdle this film will have to fight through.
