Super Mario Sunshine confirmed for Switch Online in 2026

Nintendo is finally bringing the watery classic Super Mario Sunshine to its Switch Online service next year. Per Nintendo Life, the game will join the GameCube library on August 13, 2026.

Kotaku notes the 2002 adventure is often called an underrated gem in the 3D Mario series. The game was previously available in a now-delimited Switch collection.

This marks another high-profile addition to the expanding roster of GameCube titles on the subscription service, letting players return to Isle Delfino.
