Tim Robbins, Giancarlo Esposito Join Wyatt Russell's Apple Monsterverse Show

The Wyatt Russell-led Monsterverse series coming to Apple TV+ is adding some serious star power. According to a report from Variety, Tim Robbins and Giancarlo Esposito have signed on for guest roles in the upcoming project.

They will appear alongside the previously confirmed cast, which includes Millie Brady, Pilou Asbaek, Corey Stoll, and Stana Katic.

Russell will reprise his role from "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," playing a younger version of Colonel Lee Shaw. The series is described as a spinoff focusing on a Cold War-era mission where Shaw tries to stop the Soviets from releasing a massive, destructive Titan.

No details have been shared about who Robbins or Esposito will be playing. The show is executive produced by Joby Harold, who also acts as showrunner, and Andy Goddard, among others.

This marks the second Apple series for Robbins, who currently stars in "Silo." Esposito is known for his roles in series like "Breaking Bad" and "The Mandalorian."
