Tomb Raider Catalyst pushed to 2028, likely missing PS5
Lara Croft's planned comeback under Amazon's wing has hit another major snag. According to multiple reports, the brand new adventure 'Tomb Raider: Catalyst' has been officially delayed and won't arrive until 2028.
The delay was confirmed by Amazon's head of gaming, per Polygon. This pushes the project's release into what Kotaku notes is likely the PlayStation 6 era, meaning it probably won't come out on PS5.
Meanwhile, the other planned title, the 'Tomb Raider 1' reimagining called 'Legacy of Atlantis', is reportedly still on track for a February 2027 release. Both games were originally announced for 2026 and 2027, respectively.
