Tyler Perry's latest Netflix drop wasted no time climbing the charts. According to TheWrap, his dramedy "Why Did I Get Married Again?" grabbed the number one spot on the English-language movie list right out of the gate.
The film, which is the third entry in its series, pulled in a massive 19.3 million views during its debut week.
On the TV side, "The Gentlemen" Season 2 took the top spot. It saw its viewership jump to nearly 10 million in its second week, up from its 6.7 million debut. That surge in interest also brought Season 1 back into the top ten, where it landed at number three.
The week's second most-watched show was the true crime docuseries "Death of the Pastor’s Wife," which netted 6 million views. Netflix's new YA series "Crew Girl" debuted at number four on the TV chart with 5.2 million views.
Other notable performers included Tyler Perry's series "Beauty in Black," which sat at number six on the TV list for the week. Meanwhile, Harlan Coben's thriller "I Will Find You" moved up to become the fifth most popular Netflix show of all time, per the outlet's report.
