Yellowstone's Jimmy Saddles Up For Marshals Season 2
Jefferson White is returning to the Dutton universe. TVLine reports the actor will reprise his Yellowstone role as ranch hand Jimmy Hurdstrom in a recurring capacity for Season 2 of the CBS spin-off Marshals.
White shared his excitement in a statement obtained by outlets. "I'm thrilled to dive into the world of 'Marshals' and continue exploring the American West," he said, per Variety. He called the cast and crew "stacked" with his favorites.
On the flagship series, Jimmy started as a wayward young man who found purpose and a career as a cowboy after being sent to work at the Yellowstone Ranch. His story later took him to Texas, where he was set to build a life.
He joins fellow Yellowstone alum Luke Grimes, who leads Marshals as Kayce Dutton. The Hollywood Reporter notes the new season premieres October 4 on CBS, with streaming available the next day on Paramount+.
The exact reason for Jimmy's return to Montana is under wraps. As TVLine puts it, the character brings "dozens of episodes of history" with him when he rides back onto the scene.
