American Dad!
The series focuses on an eccentric motley crew that is the Smith family and their three housemates: Father, husband, and breadwinner Stan Smith; his better half housewife, Francine Smith; their college-aged daughter, Hayley Smith; and their high-school-aged son, Steve Smith. Outside of the Smith family, there are three additional main characters, including Hayley's boyfriend turned husband, Jeff Fischer; the family's man-in-a-goldfish-body pet, Klaus; and most notably the family's zany alien, Roger, who is "full of masquerades, brazenness, and shocking antics."

What people are saying
Updated nightlyPeople are still really into this show after all these seasons, with the humor and voice acting keeping it fresh. Seth MacFarlane is the star of the operation, though a lot of fans seem pretty down on the original creators. The alien Roger's disguises and antics are a huge highlight, and the whole Smith family, from Stan and Francine to Steve and Hayley, gets a lot of love. The main gripe, when people have one, is that the storylines can sometimes feel a bit weak or unoriginal, but the jokes consistently land.
