Batman: Caped Crusader

Most people who talked about Batman: Caped Crusader are into it, especially the noir story and Bruce Timm’s take on Gotham. Hamish Linklater’s Batman anchors the show, though opinions on him are more split, and the Joker and Harley Quinn are the villains people really enjoy. The Riddler is the clearest miss, with a lot of viewers finding him annoying or undercooked, and some also aren’t wild about Barbara Gordon. A few gripes about pacing show up, but they don’t seem to define the whole series, and the visuals and originality still get decent support. It’s a Batman show that works best when it leans into character and Gotham corruption, not when it tries to force every villain into the spotlight.
