The adventures of a late-20th-century New York City pizza delivery boy, Philip J. Fry, who, after being unwittingly cryogenically frozen for one thousand years, finds employment at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company in the retro-futuristic 31st century.

Most people still love this show for its humor and voice cast, led by Billy West's iconic work as Fry, Professor Farnsworth, and Zapp Brannigan. The jokes land consistently, and the retro-futuristic world is fun to look at. That said, the story quality gets more mixed reviews, with some finding the newer seasons less original than the classic run. The vocal cast, including John DiMaggio's Bender and Maurice LaMarche, remains a huge draw that keeps fans coming back.
