The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.
People are mostly into X-Men '97 for the strong visuals, great voice acting, and a surprising amount of humor that really lands. The biggest hang-up is the pacing, which a lot of folks found frustratingly slow or inconsistent. Characters like Jubilee, Polaris, and Nightcrawler get a lot of love, but some major figures like Wolverine and Apocalypse didn't click for everyone. It's a solid revival that nails the vibe, even if the story's momentum doesn't always keep up.
