What people are saying
Updated nightlyPeople are split on this dark comedy about a teacher, Maria, pushed to extremes by a violent student, Danny. Saoirse Ronan is the main draw, with nearly everyone agreeing she's fantastic in the lead role. The story and its darkly funny take on community apathy work for most, though some found the pacing a real slog. The director's choices got some vocal criticism, and a few viewers felt the whole "Bad Apples" concept was a miss, but Ronan's performance holds it together for those who liked it.
