The real review
People are loving this stylish, hilarious heist movie about shoplifters targeting a ruthless fashion mogul — it’s clever, original, and looks incredible. Boots Riley’s sharp direction gets most of the credit for the witty, high-energy vibe, though the performances, especially from Keke Palmer as ringleader Corvette, are solid too. The one common complaint is that the plot’s pacing drags in a few spots, but it doesn’t kill the fun. It’s a blast.
