People are mostly down on this survival thriller. The premise, a family trapped in their home with a mysterious threat, gets slammed as unoriginal and poorly paced, with the story dragging after a decent start. The cast, especially Greta Lee and Wagner Moura as the parents Ann and Jason, gets a pass for trying their best with thin material, but the characters are too underdeveloped to care about. It ends up feeling like a forgettable, frustrating watch that doesn’t deliver on its initial promise.
