Christopher Nolan's China interview goes viral for frank talk on critics, faith

Christopher Nolan is making waves far from Hollywood. A recent interview the director gave to a Chinese podcaster has exploded online, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The conversation with host Zhong Shu was reportedly anything but a typical press tour chat. Instead, Nolan dove deep, offering frank views on film critics and discussing Christian themes in his upcoming film 'The Odyssey'.

He even described himself as a 'bard for a civilization at dusk,' a poetic line that's helping fuel the clip's viral spread.
