You Can See Everything beats Clayface in tight Friday box office race

A24's documentary "You Can See Everything" took the top spot at the Friday box office, but just barely. According to Variety, the Elizabeth Holmes film pulled in $3.56 million from 3,243 theaters on its third Friday.

That was just enough to edge out Warner Bros. and DC's horror film "Clayface," which landed in second place with $3.3 million from 3,478 locations on its second Friday. The weekend race is extremely close, as reported by multiple outlets, with both films projected to earn around $10.5 million for the full three days.

Per Variety, "You Can See Everything" has now earned a cumulative $56.85 million domestically since opening on October 16. The film from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, which examines Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, is being submitted for multiple Oscar categories on A24's awards site.

"Clayface" has grossed $36.9 million domestically so far, with an estimated $10.25 million weekend. TheWrap reports the film's 10-day total will reach about $44 million, marking a 57% drop from its opening.

Laika's stop-motion film "Wildwood" landed in third place on Friday with $2.39 million, while the concert film "BTS World Tour 'ARIRANG' in South America" and Black Bear's "Wicker" rounded out the top five. TheWrap notes "Wicker" is proving a low-budget success with a $4.1 million second weekend.
