Chronicles: Medieval Developer Raw Power Games Warns of Imminent Closure

The indie studio behind Chronicles: Medieval says it could shut down before the game ever reaches players. According to IGN, Raw Power Games posted a dire warning on social media stating its funding is "no longer in place."

The studio's message, posted on X, laid out a grim situation. It claimed that due to circumstances outside its control, the team cannot continue development without the lost financial backing. Raw Power explicitly stated the studio is "at real risk of closing."

The post expressed frustration at being so close to an Early Access launch for the medieval open-world game. The developers wrote that the world is "finally starting to feel alive" and that the team has been putting everything into the project.

Raw Power asked fans to keep the game on their wishlists and to continue talking about it online, saying such support "matters more right now than you might think." The game had previously garnered attention with a Tom Hardy-narrated announcement trailer at Summer Game Fest 2025.
