Creative Arts Emmys 2026: every winner from both nights
The Television Academy handed out its Creative Arts Emmys over two nights at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 5 and 6. These are the craft, guest acting, animation, documentary and reality categories that never make the main telecast, and there are a lot of them: 102 categories across the two ceremonies. The big show follows on Monday, September 14, live on NBC and Peacock.
Apple's comedy Widow's Bay was the weekend's top program with eight trophies, including casting, cinematography, production design and a guest actress win for Betty Gilpin. Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show was close behind with seven. HBO's DTF St. Louis took six, among them both supporting acting awards for a limited series, which went to Linda Cardellini and David Harbour, plus directing and writing. Peacock's The Traitors also won six, with Alan Cumming named best reality host.
Spider-Noir, which MGM+ and Prime Video cancelled after one season, still picked up five awards, including cinematography for a one-hour series, title design and visual effects. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert signed off with five for its final season. Other headline winners: South Park for animated program, The Muppet Show for pre-recorded variety special, Jeopardy! for game show, Rob Reiner as guest actor for The Bear, Julie Andrews for her Bridgerton voice-over and Octavia Spencer as narrator of Lost Women of Alaska.
By network, Apple TV led with 19 wins, ahead of HBO and HBO Max on 16 combined and Netflix on 13.
