Dave Bautista in talks to replace injured Ryan Hurst as Kratos in God of War series

The God of War TV series is looking for a new Spartan. Dave Bautista is reportedly in talks to take over the role of Kratos for the Prime Video adaptation, according to Variety.

This move comes after the original star, Ryan Hurst, was forced to exit the project due to a stunt injury, per TheWrap. The role is now being recast, and sources say Bautista is the prime candidate.

If the deal goes through, the former WWE star and Guardians of the Galaxy actor would be stepping into some very large sandals to lead Amazon's live-action take on the hit PlayStation game.
