Dead by Daylight pulls Chucky content from sale next month

Behaviour Interactive is removing all Chucky content from Dead by Daylight, according to a report from IGN. The so-called Chucky Chapter will be pulled from in-game and first-party stores on November 24, 2026.

Anyone who has already purchased the killer doll, known in-game as The Good Guy, or his cosmetics will keep them. However, after the date, no one will be able to buy him. The developer will hold a 50% off 'Last Chance' sale starting October 26.

The move follows the removal of other licensed killers, including Michael Myers earlier this year and Pinhead in 2025. While Behaviour did not state a reason, per IGN, fans often blame expiring licensing agreements for such removals.

This pattern has left some players frustrated on social media, with one fan quoted by IGN asking, 'How do you keep losing licenses bro?' The report notes that despite these losses, the game continues to add new characters, with Art the Clown from Terrifier coming next month.
