Dexter Morgan confronts the only killer to ever escape him in new Resurrection teaser
A new teaser for the second season of 'Dexter: Resurrection' shows a tense reunion between Dexter Morgan and the one serial killer who got away.
Entertainment Tonight released the sneak peek, which features a scene from the season two premiere. It shows Dexter, played by Michael C. Hall, encountering Eric Stonestreet's character, Al, who is also known as Rapunzel. According to ScreenRant, this character is the first and only killer to have escaped Dexter's kill room and survived into a new season.
The clip is set outside New York City, with Al appearing to be on a family vacation in front of an RV. Dexter waves at him from a distance. The vigilante then approaches, telling Al, "I saw your latest work and I wanted to connect," confirming that Rapunzel is still active.
The report notes that Al is unaware of Dexter's true identity, still referring to him by the alias 'Red.' The interaction shows a slight softening between the two characters, despite their violent history.
