Evan Rachel Wood says it's 'sad' she wasn't asked back for 'Practical Magic 2'
Evan Rachel Wood is calling out the 'Practical Magic' sequel after being left off the guest list. The actress told Entertainment Tonight it's 'sad' she wasn't asked to return for 'Practical Magic 2' after offering to reprise her role, per Variety.
Wood suggested the film might be straying from its source material. 'I read the book, and it seems like they're not following the book,' she explained to TheWrap.
Her character, Kylie Owens, was a child in the 1998 original, but the sequel is reportedly set years later. While Wood is out, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are in talks to return.
