Final Fantasy TCG's Memories of Life expansion gets November 2026 date
Square Enix has set a November 2026 release for the next major expansion of the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game. According to ScreenRant, the set is titled 'Memories of Life' and is currently planned for a November 13 launch, though the company notes the date is still tentative.
The booster set will be the 30th installment in the card game's Opus series. It's scheduled to arrive roughly a decade after the FFTCG's modern reboot began with Opus 1 in October 2016.
The release will include 118 standard cards alongside 167 premium cards. Per the report, a pack holds a dozen cards and will always include at least one premium version. A display box contains 18 of these packs.
Collectors will have several highlighted cards to hunt. The Special card for the set is Shantotto from Final Fantasy XI, featuring a gold-foil signature from artist Fumio Minagawa. The returning Noir series will feature Sephiroth, while premium full-art 'Legacy Cards' will include Tifa, Cyan, and Vegnagaen. New art will represent titles from across the series, including the second, third, and tenth mainline games, Final Fantasy Tactics S, and Brave Exvius.
