First look at Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones' twisted reunion in 'The Gallerist'

Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones are trading Wednesday's gothic halls for a chaotic art gallery. A new batch of first-look images for the upcoming dark comedy thriller "The Gallerist" reveals the "Wednesday" co-stars reunited in a far more twisted scenario, per MovieWeb.

Ortega plays a frantic assistant to Natalie Portman's platinum-blonde gallery owner in the film. Portrayed by Portman, the owner finds herself with a dead body on her hands and ropes Ortega's character into a scheme to pass it off as a piece of avant-garde art.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who played Ortega's on-screen mother Morticia Addams, appears as a high-powered art consultant named Marianne. According to the report, her character is Ortega's sharp-witted, freshly paroled aunt, a stark contrast to their Netflix relationship.

Zeta-Jones told People, per MovieWeb, that working with Ortega was "a joy." She described the film as a "great, fun, dark comedy" with flawed female characters navigating consequences in a world where men might get away with more.

The film is directed by Cathy Yan. The cast also includes Daniel Brühl as an art collector named Cristos, Sterling K. Brown, Zach Galifianakis, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph.

Moviegoers won't have to wait too long to see the chaos unfold. "The Gallerist" is scheduled to hit theaters on December 4, 2026.
