First look at 'Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story' as Netflix sets September date

Netflix has dropped the first images for the next chapter in Ryan Murphy's true-crime anthology. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series stars Ella Beatty as Lizzie Borden, marking the first female lead for the 'Monster' franchise.

TVLine reports the show, which also features Charlie Hunnam, is set to debut on the streamer next month. Hunnam previously played Ed Gein in the anthology's third season.

'Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story' is the latest installment from Murphy, who has previously tackled the stories of Jeffrey Dahmer and the Menendez brothers in the series.
