FromSoftware delays Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods to 2027

The Duskbloods, a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive from FromSoftware, has been pushed into 2027. The game was previously expected by the end of 2026, according to IGN.

The developer announced the delay with an online statement, saying the decision followed feedback from a recent network test. The statement, also reported by VGC and Eurogamer, said the team wants time for "final adjustments to game rules and balancing" to enhance combat, strategic depth, and player expression. No specific timeframe within 2027 was given.

Eurogamer notes the game was absent from a September 2026 Nintendo Direct, and its network test faced issues. FromSoftware ended the test's first day early in August due to "game server issues" that blocked player logins, per IGN. The outlet also reports that anticipation has been high, as the developer is known for titles like Elden Ring.

With the delay confirmed, players will have to wait until at least next year to get their hands on this exclusive title.
