Jacksepticeye Becomes Hitman Target, Gives Bloodborne Movie Update

Content creator Jacksepticeye has a new gig: getting assassinated. IGN reports he's now a free Elusive Target in *Hitman*, available for players to eliminate until November 25.
He won't be playing himself, however. Jacksepticeye told IGN his character is a "flanderized" version of content creators, specifically those in the "manosphere." He described the persona as "completely insufferable," inspired by controversial online influencers, to give Agent 47 a worthy target.
The YouTuber said developer IO Interactive was "super collaborative," letting him shape the character and dialogue. He was impressed by the team's speed and the complex, modular systems behind the game's levels.
In the same interview, covered by Polygon, Jacksepticeye provided an update on the animated *Bloodborne* movie he's producing. He confirmed the project is further along than when it was announced at CinemaCon in April.
"We definitely have a lot more stuff mapped out," he said, per Polygon. While he didn't name the writer and director now attached, he promised announcements are coming. He stressed a desire to stay true to the game's world but not do a direct retelling, citing recent adaptations like *Fallout* and *Resident Evil* as positive examples of taking creative liberties.
