Full Trailer for Canceled Transformers Game Leaks After Its Demise

A final trailer for the aborted video game Transformers: Reactivate has surfaced online, per IGN. The clip offers fans the most complete look yet at what the canned project would have become.

The game, a third-person online action title from developer Splash Damage, was first unveiled at The Game Awards in 2022. After significant delays, it was officially canceled in January 2025.

The leaked trailer was posted to social media by an account called 'Nem - TFR Archives' last month. In a message, the user speculated the video was likely created as a pitch to other publishers after the project's initial cancellation. The footage suggests the game evolved from a free-to-play online experience to one featuring a full single-player campaign with optional online co-op.

It shows Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Ironhide battling an enemy force called the Legion across locations like New York and a desert. The trailer also indicates players could have teamed up with Decepticons, with Megatron appearing as a recruitable character using a whip and gun.

The fan account is reportedly now working on a documentary about the game's development and cancellation, seeking further information from those involved.
