Joey King and LaKeith Stanfield to star in alien romance comedy 'Safe Space'

Variety reports that stars Joey King and LaKeith Stanfield are attached to a new project from filmmaker Gillian Wallace Horvat.

The movie is a sci-fi comedy titled 'Safe Space' and is described as a provocative alien romance about toxic relationships. Horvat was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for 'I Blame Society'.

French sales company Lucky Number is handling the launch of the project to potential buyers. They are set to begin sales at the upcoming American Film Market.
