Jurassic Park: Survival game returns to franchise's thriller roots
A new Jurassic Park game is taking the series back to its survival-horror origins, according to a report by ScreenRant. Jurassic Park: Survival is a first-person action-adventure game from Saber Interactive.
The game is set on Isla Nublar the day after the events of the original 1993 film. Players control Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist left behind after the park's collapse, who must use stealth to survive and escape the island.
Saber Interactive describes the setting as a "fully realized Isla Nublar," per ScreenRant. It will feature recognizable locations like the original park gates and Visitor Center, along with reactive wildlife and dinosaur threats.
The developer's pedigree includes work on Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 and World War Z. The report suggests the game will focus on exploration, potentially offering fans a chance to see parts of the island the movies never showed.
