Linda Cardellini, David Harbour Score First Emmys for DTF St. Louis
The Creative Arts Emmys handed out some long-awaited hardware over the weekend, with several first-time winners getting emotional.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Linda Cardellini tearfully called her first Emmy win "a real dream come true." She took home the award for best supporting actress in a limited or anthology series or movie for her role in the HBO series 'DTF St. Louis.'
Her co-star David Harbour also landed his first Emmy, winning best supporting actor in the same category for playing Floyd Smernitch. In his speech, Harbour cheekily thanked HBO for "tons of notes" during production.
'DTF St. Louis' itself collected several other trophies during the ceremony. The awards were part of Night 2 of the Creative Arts Emmys, held ahead of the main Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14.
In other comedy guest categories, Rob Reiner and Betty Gilpin were also announced as winners for guest actor and actress in a comedy series, per The Hollywood Reporter.
