Marvel's Wolverine gets an ESRB rating featuring gore, violence, and a bare butt

Looks like Marvel's Wolverine is pulling no punches, in more ways than one. The game's official ESRB rating, as reported by IGN, details not just intense violence and gore, but also promises "a handful of sequences" showing a character's "exposed buttocks."

It's a full M for Mature rating, so expect strong language to go along with all the claw-based mayhem. This isn't just a gritty game, it's apparently a game willing to get a little cheeky, too.

The rating confirms Insomniac's take on Logan is aiming for a hard-edged, adult tone, with all the visceral action that implies.
