Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Climbs Back Into Apple TV's Top 10
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is proving it still has some life. Per MovieWeb, the Monsterverse series has returned to Apple TV's global top 10 chart more than four months after its second season ended.
The show, which stars Kurt and Wyatt Russell playing the same character across different timelines, landed in tenth place worldwide as of September 19. It joined heavy hitters like Ted Lasso, Severance, and Slow Horses on the list.
This climb happened despite no new episodes and no announced plans for a third season. The series also charted in individual countries from Belize and Bolivia to Azerbaijan.
The report notes that Apple is moving forward with a separate prequel series and that company bosses have discussed expanding the Monsterverse further. However, a direct renewal for Monarch's third season remains up in the air.
A streaming comeback like this, alongside the upcoming Godzilla x Kong: Supernova movie, could help the show's case for more episodes.
