Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 3 in talks with new creative team and monsters

Talks are underway for a third season of Apple TV's 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,' but a major creative overhaul is part of the plan, per Variety.
According to the outlet, Legendary Television is seeking a new showrunner and new writers for the potential new season. The fresh creative team would also introduce new Titans from the larger MonsterVerse.
It is unclear if any characters from the show's first two seasons would return. Sources told Variety that multiple individuals have been approached about taking over showrunning duties.
Collider reports that the new direction would replace the team led by co-creator Chris Black. The search for a new team is currently in progress.
Meanwhile, a separate spinoff series focusing on Wyatt Russell's character, Lee Shaw, is still in development. That project, set in 1984, would follow Shaw on a mission involving Cold War intrigue and a new Titan.
