No Man's Sky Gets Spooky Forsaken Update for Halloween on All Platforms

No Man's Sky players are getting a horror-themed treat just in time for Halloween. IGN reports that developer Hello Games has launched the free Forsaken update across all platforms, arriving the same day the game debuted on iOS.
According to the outlet, the update explores a "darker side of the universe." Players can venture into eerie locations like derelict ships and infested outposts to find unsettling artifacts, which can then be traded for new rewards.
These seasonal rewards include what Eurogamer describes as "creepy and organic" ship parts, such as new cockpits and biomechanical modules. The update also adds new character cosmetics like a larva tank helmet and a worm-like multi-tool.
Beyond the Halloween theme, the patch introduces new gameplay features and interface improvements. Eurogamer notes the addition of delivery missions, a minimal HUD option, and a new "seamless warping" feature that lets players travel directly to any visible star.
The Forsaken update is available now on all platforms, including the new iOS version, as confirmed by both IGN and Eurogamer.
