PlayStation Unveils Limited Edition PS5 Controller Designed by K-Pop Star Lisa
Sony has announced a new limited edition PS5 DualSense controller, per VGC, and it's a celebrity collaboration with K-pop star Lisa from Blackpink.
The controller's design incorporates Lisa's signature look, according to Polygon, with her distinctive bangs and eyes depicted on the touchpad. Her signature stars and "LL" lettering also appear on the Chroma Pearl-colored shell.
Pre-orders for the controller begin on October 2 at 10 a.m. local time, as reported by VGC. The controller itself will be released on October 30 and is described as "highly limited." It will cost $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK.
Push Square notes that a full merchandise collection will launch alongside it, featuring apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers, and a carrying case for the DualSense. According to Polygon, the merch will be available in two batches, with some items launching on PlayStation's site on October 30 and others arriving on Lisa's official Amazon store on October 23.
Lisa provided a statement for the announcement, saying, "Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax, so getting to create this collection with PlayStation was very exciting."
