Pokémon Go Gible Community Day Classic event guide details bonuses and moves
Pokémon Go players can mark their calendars for a Gible Community Day Classic this Saturday, September 12. According to Polygon, the event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
The event will feature massively increased spawns for Gible, along with a high chance for the dragon and ground-type Pokémon to appear in its shiny form. Per the outlet, historical data suggests shiny rates on Community Days are approximately 1 in 24.
A key incentive is an exclusive move for Garchomp. Evolving a Gabite into Garchomp between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. local time will grant it the charged move Earth Power. Players who miss the window may get another chance in December or can use an Elite TM.
Polygon notes Garchomp is a top-tier attacker, especially with its available Mega Evolution. For player versus player battles in the Master League, a setup with Dragon Tail, Twister, and Earth Power is recommended.
The event will also feature several bonuses, including triple catch Stardust, doubled candy for catching Pokémon, and extended lure module durations. Using a Mega-Evolved or Primal Pokémon from a specific list will yield additional Gible candy per catch.
