Project Zomboid shatters player record after huge map expansion

Project Zomboid shatters player record after huge map expansion

The zombie survival sim Project Zomboid just keeps on shambling. A massive new map update has sent its player count to an all-time high, according to PC Gamer.

The update overhauls old towns, adds a creepy new orphanage, and throws in a staggering 400 procedurally generated basements to loot. Talk about giving the players what they want.

In related news, the price of the long-running early access title has also gone up. Guess that's the cost of 400 new places to hide from the undead.
