‘Ramayana’ trailer pits Ranbir Kapoor against Yash in first look at epic
The first trailer for the two-part adaptation "Ramayana" has arrived, giving audiences a hefty glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari's cinematic undertaking. According to Variety, the footage follows exiled prince Rama, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and his consort Sita, played by Sai Pallavi, as their peaceful exile turns to catastrophe.
The visual spectacle sets the stage for a major showdown between Kapoor's Rama and Yash as the antagonist, Ravana. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release this coming November, marking the beginning of a grand two-part saga.
